Hi All,
Please see below for grade level specific STREAM Enrichment updates. Please note: We have now reached the point in the year where we have learned the Engineering Design Process, the Scientific Method and have learned about each NGSS standard. From here on out, all will be review of what we have learned and aligning STREAM projects and labs with what we have learned this year. 4th Grade: We reviewed forces, momentum and what happens when objects collide. We used the scientific method to see if hard boiled eggs crack equally when they collide when being thrown from an equal distance with force being the variable. Up Next: Biomes/dioramas of other continents around the world. 5th Grade: 5th grade has been testing and practicing for Grandparents Day during our wheel time. I look forward to having them join me again next week. Up Next: Review of Matter, Space, Chemical Reactions and Thrust: Alkaseltzer Rocket Lab. 6th Grade: STREAM projects are finished! The students did well. Up Next: The effects of global weather patterns on farmer's crops. "Life of a Farmer" project. Thank you for all your support. With Gratitude, Ms. G Hi All,
